Yarn – Bulky #5 approximately 150 yds

Materials- Size Hook: H (5.0mm)

Difficulty – Intermediate

Measurements in Pattern – Laying flat width 3 inches, length 24 inches

Gauge – Not important

Stitch Guide in American Terms:
BLO = back loop only
Ch = chain
Dc = double crochet
Dec = decrease
Fp = front post
Hdc = half double crochet
Sc = single crochet
Trc = treble crochet

Pattern Notes:
Always skip the stitch behind the FP trc.
Chain 1 at beginning of rounds does not count as a stitch.

Instruction:
Chain 65, join to form a ring.
Round 1: CH 1, sc in in each back bump of chain around; join with slip stitch in top of first sc. (65 sc)
Round 2: CH 1, sc in same stitch as join and in each stitch around; join with slip stitch in top of first sc. (65 sc)
Round 3: Repeat Round 2
Round 4: CH 1, sc in same stitch as join, * FPTR in the next sc 2 rows below, skip the sc after the last sc made, sc in the next stitch, * repeat from * to * around; join with a slip stitch in top of first sc. (32 FPtr, 33 sc = 65 sts)
Round 5: Repeat Round 2 (65 sc)
Round 6: CH 1, FPTR in the same st as join 2 rows below, skip the sc behind FPTR, * sc in the next stitch, FPTR in the next sc 2 rows below, skip the sc after the last sc made, * repeat from * to * around; join with slip stitch in top of FPTR. (65 sts)
Round 7: Repeat Round 2
Round 8: Repeat Round 4
Round 9: Repeat Round 2
Round 10: Repeat Round 5
Round 11: Repeat Round 2
Round 12: CH 1, hdc in same stitch as join, hdc in next 4 stitches, hdc dec over next 2 stitches, * hdc in next 5 stitches, hdc dec over next 2 stitches, * repeat from * to * around, ending with hdc in last 3 stitches; join in top of first hdc, (58 sts)
Round 13: CH 1, hdc same stitch as join, hdc next 3 stitches, hdc dec over next 2 stitches, * hdc in next 4 stitches, hdc dec over next 2 stitches, * repeat from * to * around, ending with hdc in last 3 stitches; join in top of first hdc, (49 sts)
Round 14: CH 1, hdc same stitch as join, hdc next 2 stitches, hdc dec over next 2 stitches, * hdc in next 4 stitches, hdc dec over next 2 stitches, * repeat from * to * around, ending with hdc in last 3 stitches; join in top of first hdc, (49 sts)

Fasten off and weave in ends

    There are two Round 4 instructions?? Should the second Round 4 be Round 5, and adjust the remaining rounds accordingly?
